This modern German Kitchen is from our next125 range. It is a wonderful example of the great design and precision finish that our customers know us for.
The property is a Victorian house with very high ceilings. We designed the kitchen to make the most of the generous proportions using the flexibility of the next125 design system.
Deeper than normal cupboards and full height units in matt Jaguar green that contrast with the textures of the oak veneer bar area and mirrored splashback.
The result is a spectacular and practical kitchen across one wall. Across the right side of the room is a practical sink area with Quooker boiling water tap, and black glass tambour unit that hides the toaster and coffee machine when not needed.
Lit rails on the wall provide a space for knives, herbs, books and wine bottles to be readily on hand.
A substantial ceramic concrete island provides a hard working central space to cook and entertain. It features a very slim floating worktop (that continues around the room) with Neff induction hob, extractor fan and pop up sockets.
One special ability of the next125 range is that it can make design look exceptional. For example, the drawer units in the island appear to wrap horizontally on all sides, and match the lines around the whole kitchen on a grid system.
Another special features of next125 are the slim (13mm) colour matched end panels (normal end panels are 18mm), and the shallow plinth heights,, which mean you can get more cupboard space internally.
These almost tiny details all contribute to the end result – a sleek finish and exceptional design capability.
